ACTIVE ADVENTURE SAFARIS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Once you agree to travel with us automatically you agree to the terms and conditions set out by active African Vacations:

1. RESERVATION
Most of the accommodations have a limited capacity. It is good to make reservations well in advance to insure your preferred arrangements
Vacation are booked and confirmed only on receipt of the 40% deposit payment per person.  This would assist active African vacation to cater for the gorilla permits and chimpanzee permits which are in most cases needs advance booking. Mostly to those who fail to remit their deposit payment on time will result in a change of status of any confirmed space to a provisional basis and the possible inability to reinstate your reservation. When Active African Vacations receives your deposit payment, a notification document will be sent out to you this shall be deemed to confirmation of your Trip with Active African Vacations.

2. GORILLA PERMITS
After payment of the initial deposit, we shall request you to send us your passport details, the needed information there is passport number, date of issue, expiry dates and nationality especially to those who will be taking part in gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking/habituation exercise.

3. FINAL PAYMENT
The balance is due not later than 14 days prior to the start off  of your holiday.
Also No client will be allowed onto the holiday without fulfilling the full payment of the trip charge.

4. LAST MINUTE
 For any reservation made within 14days of commencement of a vacation may be accepted at payment of the full amount of the trip.

5. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Any cancellation of a booking must be in writing and shall only be effective upon its acknowledged receipt by Active African vacations.  Cancellation charges shall apply in the following circumstances:

Should you cancel less than 40 days prior to the trip, a refund  of 20% will be charged only  if you cancel  between 20-39 days 30% will be charged ,2-19days 50% will be charged, 0-1 day full amount of the safari will be charged. All notification of cancellations must be in writing. If you want to make an extension of your trip, you need to inform us in advance.. No refunds will be given for unused lodging, meals, transportation, entertainment events and other services once the trip has started.

If you are a "no show", Active African Vacation shall be entitled to treat your reservation as canceled

If you leave your safari after it has started, or miss any scheduled, activities, meals or accommodations. No refund shall be given out to you.
