Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kibale forest National Park
You will have early morning breakfast from your hotel of stay and after start the 5-6 hours drive to reach Kibale forest national park ( which is ranked as the best destination for chimpanzee tracking in Uganda) You will arrive at the time of lunch and after lunch you will go for afternoon chimpanzee tracking experience that may last for 4-5 hours depending on the movement of the primates in the wilderness. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp / Isunga Camp
Day 2: Nature Walk on Crater Lakes
After Early morning breakfast, you will go the nature walk around the crater lakes near the local communities of Kibale Forest national park and after transfer to queen elizabeth national park , the best destination for spotting the wildlife animals including the tree climbing lions . Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi
Following breakfast, you will check out and embark the vehicle and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park with a leisurely drive through the Ishasha sector hoping to catch sight of the tree climbing lions that reside there. You will have lunch en-route and proceed to Bwindi arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge or Buhoma Haven Lodge.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking
Wake up to an early morning breakfast and depart the lodge with packed lunch and drinking water. Report to the headquarters for briefing and head into the forest for gorilla trekking. The activity could take 4-8 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. During the trek, you may spot other primates and different bird species which are good for kin bird watchers. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Kampala
Have breakfast at leisure and depart Bwindi impenetrable forest national park making your way back to Kampala with stopovers for lunch in Mbarara and at the equator for photos and the experiment.
