Nyakalengija Forest Tour (Mount Rwenzori National Park)
Nyakalengija Forest Tour, Accompanied by a native guide, you will travel through the tropical rainforest that is linked to Rwenzori Mountains National Park. Within this community reserve, a diverse array of plant and tree species may be found, which will be explained and elaborated by the guide. Occasionally, one may come across various kinds of wildlife. Nyakalengija Forest Tour, the park is home to a variety of animals, such as chameleons, birds, insects, and occasionally primates that migrate into the area. Although one may not see wildlife, the jungle is nonetheless stunning with its rivers, creeks, and intricately entangled vines draping from the canopy.

To reach your destination, travel 26km in the northwest direction of Kasese town. Take a turn at Nkenda electricity terminal and continue for 10km on the Kasese Fort portal road. Finally, drive for 17km till the park gate. Our location is at the Nyakalengijo gate of Rwenzori Mountains National Park.

Nyakalengija Forest Tour itinerary
Upon arrival, you will be acquainted with the guide to receive orientation. You will traverse through pristine woodland adjacent to Rwenzori Mountains National Park. The Rwenzori Forest is inhabited by distinct species of wildlife including chameleons, primates, birds, reptiles, insects, and a diverse array of plants. As you admire the surrounding mountains, you will traverse rivers along the way. If you stay overnight at Ruboni Community Camp, orientation may take place on the day of arrival before the hike.

6 Days Climbing Weismans peak in Rwenzori Mountains : Trek Rwenzori
There is no glacier on Weismann and no need for ropes or technical equipment, except in very poor conditions. On a clear day, the view from the top of Weismann to the Kachope Lakes below and to Mts Stanley and Baker in the distance is marvellous.
